El Nigos

El Nigos

Three players, one coach, no org behind us. We're a Grand Champ trio grinding the RLCS open brackets from round one, scrimming four nights a week, and trying to get further this split than we did the last one.

The three

Rocket League gives you three cars and nowhere to hide. Stats below are per-game averages from our last 40 competitive games, not career highlights.

01

moonkut diamond

Striker · First man · GC2

Our shot volume. Takes the aggressive first touch on kickoff and forces saves early, which is what opens up the second and third man.

02

Hikmet

Captain · Third man · GC2

Holds the back post and calls the rotation out loud. Highest save count on the team and the reason we don't lose games in the last thirty seconds any more.

Mii Fanboy

Playmaker · Second man · GC1

Wins the 50s nobody else contests and plays the corner pass instead of the greedy shot. Cleanest boost management of the three.

Coaching staff

IamSelimden

Runs the scrim block, reviews replays after every series and writes the kickoff plays. Not on the active roster — RLCS registers three starters and one sub, so a coach sits outside the team sheet.

Student experience

Oriøn

Joined EL Nigos as a solo queue grinder stuck in Silver 3 and made the jump to Grand Champion within two months. The replay reviews changed how I read the game — instead of chasing the ball, I started anticipating the next touch. Coaching staff broke down every 50/50, every kickoff, every rotation mistake. Now I'm competing in open brackets with a real team instead of tilting in ranked.

Where we're at

No trophies yet. What we do have is a settled roster, a coach, and three brackets' worth of footage showing exactly where we lose games. That's the honest version.

Roster locked in

Three players who'd been queuing together since ranked hit Champ 3 stopped rotating friends in and committed to a fixed lineup.

First open bracket entered

Registered for an RLCS European Open and lost round one. Learned that scrim habits and bracket nerves are two different skills.

Coach joined

IamSelimden came in to run replay reviews and structure the scrim block. Win rate moved before anyone's mechanics did.

Three rounds deep

Best run so far is the round of 128 in EU Open 5. Beating a seeded org is the next real milestone.

Top 192 and a swiss stage

Reaching the best-of-five portion of an Open would be the first result worth putting on a résumé.

Looking for a sub

RLCS lets us register one substitute and we don't have one. Grand Champ 1 or above, EU servers, free four evenings a week. No pay — we're unsigned too.
